Wewak Airport Project in Papua New Guinea
[Project Overview] The project contract value is approximately RMB 100 million, and the site is located in Wewak City, East Sepik Province. The scope of works includes the demolition of the existing terminal building and the construction of a new terminal under an EPC contract; the construction of a new electrical distribution room, a tow-truck shelter, a market, and a single office-residential building; the demolition of the existing parking lot and the construction of a new parking lot; the supply of all necessary equipment for the terminal building; the provision of windsocks, cone markers, approach lights, airport lighting, and other related ancillary works for the airport runway; the maintenance, partial demolition and reconstruction, and expansion of taxiways, aprons, runways, runway and taxiway shoulders, as well as the perimeter fencing; and the upgrading of the existing drainage system. The project will be executed in accordance with Australian standards.
