Underground Civil Air Defense Renovation Project of Shenyang Railway Station
[Project Overview] This project involves a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of the existing civil defense facilities at Shenyang Railway Station, comprising two underground levels with a total floor area of over 15,000 square meters, as well as the optimized development of the ground-level plaza. The first basement level will be reconfigured to accommodate passenger gathering and commercial spaces, while the second basement level will be transformed into a passenger departure hall, a taxi pick-up zone, and a parking area for private vehicles. The ground level will be redesigned as an urban landscape plaza, with the metro station entrances and exits renovated and dedicated drop-off areas for taxis and private vehicles established, thereby creating a “living room” for the city. The main construction scope includes underground civil defense structures and associated interior fit-out works, water supply and drainage systems, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, fire protection systems, electrical systems, as well as supporting infrastructure such as ground-level plaza paving, landscaping, canopies, and lighting.
